The WFMA at MSU Texas is open with limited hours and following State of Texas guidelines. We know art has special importance during times of change. Its beauty, timelessness, and relevance can renew a sense of calm and purpose and remind us of our shared humanity.
Admission is free to the public. The museum is with you and for you. We welcome your visit!
Open Hours: (TEMPORARY)
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Thursday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. , Friday Senior Hour 9-10am
Saturday 1-5 p.m.
The museum can welcome up to 20 visitors at one time. Should there be greater than 20 people in the museum, visitors will be asked to wait in an appropriate area.
To continue caution against the spread of COVID-19, we ask you to please:
- sanitize hands
- cover coughs
- maintain six feet distance from others
- if you prefer, please wear a mask
Museum staff will perform the same safety measures as our guests and will be on hand to guide you and to clean guest surfaces after every visit. In addition, Museum staff are following guidelines for self-monitoring our own health and staying home when sick.
Fridays, 9-10 a.m., reserved for people 65 and older
Museum Gift Shop:
The Museum Gift Shop is open and features catalogs of our current exhibitions.
Though we are unable to resume Weekend Workshops or other public evens at this time, we will continue to provide educational and enrichment opportunities online to enhance your visit and give you greater access to the museum.
