Presenting the newest acquisitions and highlighting the Wichita Falls Museum of Art's ongoing commitment to the significance of its Permanent Collection with a focus on contemporary American artworks.

The WFMA honors the substantial contributions of the Collectors Circle, whose dedicated efforts have greatly expanded the Permanent Collection since their founding in 2010. This commitment enables the WFMA to strengthen academic study, research, and public engagement, underscoring a shared vision of promoting creativity and critical thinking.

The 2023 Collectors Circle celebrated the 100th artwork purchase. This exhibition commemorates their dedication and generosity to Midwestern State University and the surrounding community.

Become a member of the Collectors Circle!

Since its beginning in 1967, the museum has amassed an important collection of American art. The Collectors Circle is a member group formed in 2010 to continue the collecting mission and address a primary museum goal to deepen breadth, depth, and variety in the WFMA Permanent Collection. Members know their impact by seeing these works become exhibitions that reflect the human experience and invite visitors of many identities to see themselves at the Museum.
