Rugged Beauty: The Flora and Fauna of the Dalquest Desert Research Station
Experience the extraordinary beauty of the Chihuahuan Desert with a new collection of images by wife and husband team, Hannah and William Meddaugh. Commission by MSU in 2016, this collection commemorates the 20th anniversary of the Dalquest Desert Research Station. Located near Big Bend National Park, the 3,000-acre site was donated to the University by biology Professor Emeritus Walter W. Dalquest and his wife, Rose Dalquest, in 1966. With this gift, the University created an unparalleled opportunity for students of all disciplines to participate in field research and learning.
