Birds in Art 2019

January 10-February 22, 2020

January 10 – February 22, 2020

Birds in Art features interpretations of avian wonders – from vibrant to tranquil – via original paintings, sculptures, and graphics created by artists around the nation. Whether in colored pencil, oil, pastel, wood, or bronze, artists depict the character, spirit, and habitats of birds of all kinds. Birds in Art is an annual juried exhibition organized by the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum of Art in Wausau, Wisconsin. The exhibition is made possible in part by funding from The City of Wichita Falls as administered by the Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture and MSU Texas with support from the Museum Trust.
