At the museum, we have developed a series of selective programs designed to encourage MSU student engagement and involvement. These small-scale sessions and events foster a sense of community, helping students feel included while providing meaningful and enjoyable experiences.

Vinyl Record Painting Party
Friday, October 17 from 5:30–7:30 p.m.
Get ready to groove into Homecoming week with some far-out creativity! Join us at the Wichita Falls Museum of Art on October 17 from 5:30–7:30 p.m. for a vinyl record painting party inspired by the funky vibes of the 1970s. Channel your inner retro artist as you transform old records into colorful works of art—think bold patterns, disco sparkle, and peace-and-love energy. No experience needed—just bring your imagination and your Mustang spirit! All finished records will be displayed at the Museum throughout Homecoming week, so your art will help set the scene for the ultimate throwback celebration. Don’t miss this chance to make art, memories, and maybe even a few new friends.
